Cushions and Pillows Process

Step 1: Get a Quote.

To get a quote, either text into our text line (385) 429-2964 or fill out the form below with the following information about your piece:

Height, Width, Depth, and a head-on, or diagonal toward front photo of the piece. If we need additional information, we will request it after our initial evaluation.

Step 2: Select a Fabric.

To select a fabric, either come into our showroom located at 329 North State Street in Orem, Utah, open Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, or check out our provider’s websites, and we can mail you samples of your favorites.

Step 3: Place your Deposit.

Once you have received your quote and selected a fabric, we will receive a 33% deposit, which gets you on our schedule. Our wait times can vary, so an estimated completion date will be given with your quote, but it may change before you make your deposit.

Step 4: Field Measurements.

Depending on the complexity of the cushion and your confidence in your measuring skills, sometimes we will send one of our technicians to measure where you want the cushion to go so that we can ensure a proper fit.

Step 5: Delivery.

After we work our magic, we will then contact you regarding the delivery of your piece. We offer free pickup and delivery within a 30-mile radius of our shop, but we also offer group pickups in Salt Lake and Park City. A group delivery is set day we are in the general area, and we can offer significantly reduced delivery rates. Final payment is due upon delivery.

Step 6: Warranty.

If for any reason after delivery you are unhappy with your product, please contact us. We want to make sure that you are ending up with a piece you love and will last you years. Some fabrics do have a warranty that covers if the fabric is not lasting to your standards, and we warranty the quality of our reupholstery work for 5 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Thick Should My Cushion Be?

Most cushions are 3” with crowning, but the best way to determine the thickness of the cushion is to measure the distance from the place the cushion sits to the floor. A comfortable height for sitting is between 18” and 22”. You will want the top of the cushion to fall in this range.

The scale of the cushion is another consideration as well as the intended use. We are happy to help answer any of these types of questions you may have. Just call!

What is Crowning?

“Crowning” on a cushion refers to the slightly rounded, raised center of a cushion, creating a soft, full appearance. This is typically achieved by adding a layer of dacron around the main foam core, giving the cushion a plusher and more comfortable feel.

It can also be achieved by using a down envelope or other option. If you are interested in one of these upgrades, please let us know.
